We are seeking an experienced Asset Manager to perform IT asset management duties within the IT procurement and inventory management function. The Asset Manager will maintain records and databases, perform warranty repairs, and ensure secure handling and transport of devices.
Requirements
- 7 years' experience in the role of an Asset Team Lead, supporting the oversight of at least $500K or more of IT assets.
- 5 years' experience leading a team of 2 or more asset support staff.
- 5 years' experience with MS Office 365 (Word/PowerPoint/Excel).
- 3 years' experience using ServiceNow incidents or equivalent platform.
- 3 years' experience overseeing IT assets (i.e., computers, monitors, printers, peripherals etc..) including inventorying, reconciling, keeping up-to-date records, imaging new systems, reimaging existing systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Must have or be eligible to hold an HHS Public Trust
- 5+ years of experience managing IT assets in medium to large enterprise environments.
- Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM) – IAITAM
- Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional (CHAMP) – IAITAM
- Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM) – IAITAM
- ITIL v4 Foundation or Intermediate Level
- Familiarity with software license management and audit compliance (Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, etc.)
- Proficiency in Excel for advanced reporting and reconciliation
- Experience building dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or ServiceNow Performance Analytics
- Ability to reconcile asset data across systems (procurement, CMDB, endpoint detection, etc.)
- Strong communication skills both oral and written.
- Strong skills in the following key areas including strategic thinking, multi-tasking, time management, planning and executing to a defined schedule.
