Peraton is seeking an AWS Cloud Computing Associate to join our team providing Tier 2 IT System and Service Desk support to the Office of Biometric Identity Management (OBIM) Homeland Advanced Recognition Technology (HART) system. The role involves monitoring system performance, developing cloud processes, and troubleshooting system problems.
Requirements
- HS Diploma and 5 years of experience
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. government agency level clearance
- 1+ years of Linux system administration experience, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- Experience in AWS Gov Cloud
- Working knowledge of AWS applications such as CloudWatch, CloudFormation, and Lambda
- Experience managing applications that use web services to manage queue-based message services
- Basic knowledge of RedHat OpenShift, Splunk, Ansible Automation Platform, and similar toolsets
- Experience with networking within the AWS environment
- Experience with ServiceNow and Atlassian JIRA ticketing systems
