The Billing System Analyst II is responsible for the effective operation of the software in internal and customer-facing environments, ensuring system monitoring, runtime availability, and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Basic technical expertise on telco, billing, and ITSM tool (Jira or ServiceNow or Remedy)
- Communication skills, flexibility, and basic troubleshooting skills in Unix/SQL
- Experience with monitoring via tools, scripts (shell/Perl), and email alerts
- Ability to perform first-cut basic analysis via predefined SOPs
- Ability to understand customer SLA, prioritize, and manage workflow from start to finish
- Ability to triage and engage with customer and L2/L3 for functional or technical malfunctions
- Ability to communicate issues meaningfully to different stakeholders
- Participation in Operations 24x7 on-call rotation schedule
- Ability to maintain clear shift handover, ROTA, and Escalation matrix
- Ability to capture chronology of events for critical and high alerts
- Willingness to work in rotational 24*7 shifts
