The Billing System Analyst II is responsible for the effective operation of the software in internal and customer-facing environments, ensuring system monitoring, runtime availability, and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Basic technical expertise on telco, billing, and ITSM tool (Jira or ServiceNow or Remedy)
  • Communication skills, flexibility, and basic troubleshooting skills in Unix/SQL
  • Experience with monitoring via tools, scripts (shell/Perl), and email alerts
  • Ability to perform first-cut basic analysis via predefined SOPs
  • Ability to understand customer SLA, prioritize, and manage workflow from start to finish
  • Ability to triage and engage with customer and L2/L3 for functional or technical malfunctions
  • Ability to communicate issues meaningfully to different stakeholders
  • Participation in Operations 24x7 on-call rotation schedule
  • Ability to maintain clear shift handover, ROTA, and Escalation matrix
  • Ability to capture chronology of events for critical and high alerts
  • Willingness to work in rotational 24*7 shifts
