The Facilities Maintenance Coordinator/Technician is responsible for repairs and maintenance of credit union retail branches and corporate headquarters locations, ensuring all grounds and facilities are well-groomed, maintained, and safe.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of commercial building systems, maintenance, repair as well as safety codes, rules and regulations
  • Experience with electrical wiring and low voltage cabling
  • Proficient with general plumbing repairs
  • Ability to read architectural, mechanical, and electrical plan drawings
  • Proficient with hand tools, common power tools, and fine measurement tools
  • Proficient with laptop or tablet
  • Ability to use a workorder software system such as ServiceNow
  • Knowledge of and ability to use lighting control, energy management, building automation systems
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate appropriately with vendors and employees
  • High level of dependability/responsibility required
  • Strong organizational skills required. Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to self-initiate and look for areas of opportunity, make recommendations for improvement, and follow up as necessary to achieve desired results
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
