The Facilities Maintenance Coordinator/Technician is responsible for repairs and maintenance of credit union retail branches and corporate headquarters locations, ensuring all grounds and facilities are well-groomed, maintained, and safe.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of commercial building systems, maintenance, repair as well as safety codes, rules and regulations
- Experience with electrical wiring and low voltage cabling
- Proficient with general plumbing repairs
- Ability to read architectural, mechanical, and electrical plan drawings
- Proficient with hand tools, common power tools, and fine measurement tools
- Proficient with laptop or tablet
- Ability to use a workorder software system such as ServiceNow
- Knowledge of and ability to use lighting control, energy management, building automation systems
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate appropriately with vendors and employees
- High level of dependability/responsibility required
- Strong organizational skills required. Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to self-initiate and look for areas of opportunity, make recommendations for improvement, and follow up as necessary to achieve desired results
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to resolve interpersonal conflict and miscommunications
