Computer Network Architect

Synergy Business Innovation & Solutions is seeking a Computer Network Architect to support the United States Coast Guard at the Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) Information Systems Division (ISD). The role involves designing, implementing, and securing enterprise network infrastructure, optimizing performance, and ensuring security standards. This position focuses on maintaining connectivity, monitoring network assets, and collaborating with various teams to deliver a secure and efficient environment.

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of network protocols, topologies, and security frameworks
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting enterprise-level routers, switches, firewalls, and network monitoring tools
• Experience with telecommunications systems, VPN, VoIP, and video conferencing network integration
• Familiarity with FedRAMP, RMF, NIST 800-53, DHS 4300A policies, and cybersecurity control implementation
• Working knowledge of cloud networking in AWS and Azure
• Familiarity with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow or Remedy
• Excellent communication, analytical, and project coordination skills
• Ability to manage and secure large enterprise environments with mission-critical uptime requirements
• U.S. citizenship required
