Configuration Manager

We're looking for a Configuration Manager to maintain and enhance AMP's Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to ensure accurate visibility of IT assets, relationships, and dependencies. The successful candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strong interpersonal skills to ensure AMP's CMDB remains a trusted source of truth for IT operations.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years managing CMDBs, preferably in ServiceNow
• Strong understanding of IT Service Management processes (Incident, Problem, Change) and how CMDB supports them
• Familiarity with Azure and AWS
• Ability to establish data ownership, enforce standards, and maintain regulatory compliance (e.g., CPS230)
• Extensive experience resolving CMDB issues, optimizing data models, and ensuring accuracy
• Knowledge of AI/ML-driven automation and emerging best practices to enhance efficiency
• Skilled at managing multiple teams' requirements and translating technical concepts into business value
• Clear, concise written and verbal communication for documentation, reporting, and training
• Strong service orientation with experience in customer-facing roles
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adjust to evolving priorities
• Comfortable working independently and as part of cross-functional teams
• Results-oriented with a passion for self-improvement and staying ahead of industry trends
