As a Cryptography Specialist, you'll focus on protecting data and communications through designing, implementing, and maintaining cryptographic solutions. You'll focus on ensuring confidentiality, integrity, authentication, and non-repudiation in digital systems, especially preparing for the transition to Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) according to NIST guidelines. This role involves assessing, implementing, and managing cryptographic assets, collaborating with security engineers and developers, and providing subject matter expertise.
Requirements
- Perform discovery and inventory of cryptographic assets across enterprise systems.
- Analyze encryption algorithms, key management practices, and system dependencies for vulnerabilities.
- Assess cryptographic assets for quantum risk exposure and classify them by risk level.
- Develop and recommend quantum-resistant cryptographic solutions and transition strategies.
- Support integration of cryptographic inventories into enterprise tools (e.g., ServiceNow CMDB).
- Collaborate with security engineers, architects, and developers to embed cryptographic controls into applications and infrastructure.
- Perform security testing, code reviews, and cryptanalysis to identify vulnerabilities.
- Monitor emerging threats and recommend improvements to cryptographic practices and policies.
- Document cryptographic processes, standards, and technical guidelines.
- Provide subject matter expertise on cryptographic standards, policies, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with PKI, TLS/SSL, HSMs, and key management systems.
- Familiarity with programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, C/C++, Java, Go, or Rust).
- Experience applying cryptographic controls in cloud and enterprise environments
- Understanding of compliance frameworks and standards
