Cybersecurity Engineer

Maveris is seeking a full-time Cybersecurity Engineer to support a large Federal Government customer. The role focuses on enhancing the VA’s cybersecurity program, optimizing threat models, configuring infrastructure, and collaborating with various teams. Applicants are encouraged to apply Veterans.

Requirements

• Configure data classification engine scanning.
• Remediate data risk and exposure.
• Optimize threat models.
• Provide support in configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining common infrastructure.
• Collaborate with the VA Cyber Security Operations Center and Storage Teams.
• Assist with creating and maintaining technical documentation.
• Create and manage ServiceNow tickets and create/support dashboard/report creation for tracking and visualization of security activities.
• Support the development of Zero Trust implementation strategies.
• Use Excel and PowerPoint to create presentations, charts and trending graphs.
