Data Analyst (MS Power BI/AWS Glue)

Abacus Technology is seeking a Data Analyst to provide analytics and dashboard development support for the US Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) in Quantico. The role involves assisting with customer requirements for IBM Cognos and Microsoft Power BI data modules, reports, and dashboards.

Requirements

• 4+ years experience using Microsoft Power BI and at least 2 years experience using IBM Cognos Analytics and Administration and AWS Glue
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field desired
• Certified at IAT Level II (e.g., Security+, or other certification satisfying DoD 8140 certification requirements)
• Strong knowledge of SQL scripting and data relationships
• Knowledge of Oracle databases
• Experience building data models and developing dashboards using Microsoft Power BI
• Experience with a trouble ticket system such as Remedy or ServiceNow
• Experience applying STIGs
• Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining IBM Cognos desired
• Experience in a DoD or law enforcement environment desired
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
• Able to work independently and with a team
• Must be a US citizen and hold a current Top Secret clearance
