The Project Manager Senior has accountability to partner with an operational sponsor/leader(s) to assemble and manage the project team responsible to plan, organize, oversee activities needed to achieve the project objectives, and recommend and secure resources required for successful project completion.
Requirements
- Manage and resolve IT service requests and incidents using ServiceNow
- Coordinate with the Program Manager or assigned projects designated as part of a Program
- Oversee all aspects of Project Life Cycle
- Rigorously manage scope, budget, schedule, risks, and issues
- Develop communication plans that provide transparency to stakeholders and leadership
- Validate financial forecasts and expected benefits and reconcile resources and other project expenses
- Responsible to adhere to the Intermountain-designated governance and processes
- Ensure that all projects have gone through designated governance approval and prioritization processes
- May provide project supervisory oversight of the work for one or more Associate Project Managers and/or Project Managers
- Project Managers assigned within a unique service area, designated as a technical specialist for the project management area
- Apply the specific, technical specialty area requirements and skills necessary to successfully deliver projects for that area
