Data Delivery Manager (Hybrid - Madrid)

We are seeking a Data Delivery Manager to lead a team of engineers responsible for delivering reliable and high-quality data solutions. This role combines technical leadership, operational management, and team development, with a focus on service excellence and business objectives. The manager will guide day-to-day delivery, mentor engineers, and act as a first point of contact for technical and process escalations.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer, Software, or Systems Engineering (or a related technical field).
• 7+ years in data engineering, data warehousing, or data platform management.
• 3+ years in technical leadership or delivery management roles.
• Hands-on experience with SLA-driven operations, incident/problem/change management (ITIL), and process improvement.
• Technical Expertise: Data Platforms: Advanced experience with Snowflake.
• Data Pipelines: Proficient with Azure Data Factory (ADF) for ETL/ELT workflows.
• Databases: Strong SQL skills for data transformation and performance optimization.
• Automation & Orchestration: Familiar with Control-M or similar schedulers.
• Tools: ServiceNow (ITSM), Azure DevOps (SDLC), and Azure Pipelines (CI/CD).
• Leadership & Methodology: Fluent in English, excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Proven experience leading teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Comfortable managing delivery within multi-country or multi-vendor contexts.
