The Desktop Services Administrator will ensure the proper operation of computer systems and software while providing technical support to end users globally.
Requirements
- Manage the software and hardware inventory, ensuring all equipment is correctly maintained and tracked.
- Provide training to end users on the use of all desktop-related hardware and software.
- Ensure all desktop systems comply with the company's security policies and procedures.
- Collaborate closely with Infrastructure and Applications teams to maintain healthy systems.
- Administer, maintain, and provide support for all desktop-related hardware and software, including workstations and printers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any hardware or software-related issues reported by end users in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assist with IT infrastructure server setup and maintenance as requested by infrastructure team members.
- Support and troubleshoot end users remotely and in person.
- Manage and maintain desktop security, including virus protection and software patching.
- Manage user accounts and access rights, including file server access and onboarding/offboarding, with knowledge of Exchange and Azure AD.
- Oversee Thycotic Secret Server, including granting and revoking access through the admin console.
- Monitor the ticket queue to ensure service tickets are resolved and closed in a timely manner, following up with end users to confirm resolution.
- Support Microsoft Teams phone and the office badge system.

Requirements Summary
3+ years of practical experience with managing systems, networks, and troubleshooting issues, expertise in various OSs, knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and network security
