ING Hubs Romania is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their team in Bucharest. As a DevOps Engineer, you will work closely with various stakeholders to monitor, support, and run the IPA HA application and its underlying framework. You will also be responsible for implementing and working with the latest tooling, finding opportunities to automate testing and deployments, and collaborating with other Dev and Ops engineers to define and improve the technical architecture of the application.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering/operations experience
  • Advanced knowledge on CI/CD and experience with Git, Python, Ansible, Linux (RedHat Enterprise Linux 7 or 8), Shell scripting, and working experience with JVM-based applications
  • Experience with Azure DevOps or similar tools such as Jenkins
  • Familiarity with Grafana and tools for alerting like Prometheus
  • Good understanding of the ELK Stack and how to interact with it
  • Experience with Oracle 12c/19c with PL/SQL
  • Good knowledge with Docker and orchestration for it like Kubernetes or Openshift
  • Familiarity with tools such as Confluence, ServiceNow, Checkmarx
  • Experience or affinity with IT Risk & Security concepts
  • IT Operations/Support experience, including Functional support to end users
  • A customer focus, with the mindset to find and resolve root causes of incidents to structurally improve the customer experience
  • A good team player, cross functional, enjoys interacting with people of all levels in a multicultural environment
  • Proactive and attentive to other’s needs
  • Foreign languages: English (advanced)
  • Education: Education at Bachelor/Master level with a strong analytical background, in Computer Science, Cybernetics, Software Engineering, Financial Engineering or equivalent
