DevOps Engineer/Security Specialist

Trilogy Federal is seeking a DevOps Engineer/Security Specialist to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The role focuses on building secure, scalable cloud-based solutions and DevOps processes to modernize VA IT systems and align with Veteran-focused Integration Process (VIP) Lean-Agile framework. This position requires a versatile technical expert proficient in DevOps engineering, cybersecurity, and a collaborative approach.

Requirements

• Design, implement, and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
• Engineer cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure platforms
• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and risk mitigation activities
• Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Cloud Engineers, and Release Managers
• Utilize VA-approved tools (e.g., Jira, GitHub, ServiceNow) to document workflows and maintain security
• Troubleshoot and resolve DevOps and security-related issues
• Integrate emerging technologies and contribute to modernization goals
