Provides functional leadership to global devops teams that manage data at rest platforms such as SQL Server, Amazon RDS, Oracle, and UDB. Partners closely with a peer in the US to offer complete data solutions to the enterprise.
Requirements
- Drive consistency and excellence across the global enterprise data and analytics product portfolio
- Guide teams in building an environment focused on four key goals: product engineering, operational transparency, improving ITSM efficiency, and minimizing downtime
- Assess changes in the technology landscape, develop product roadmaps, and manage execution to deliver on the roadmap
- Handle platform operations, and represent platform health and status on operations and ready-for-business calls
- Communicate issue context and status clearly, demonstrating strong technical understanding
- People management, including goal setting, performance evaluation, career development and coaching
Requirements Summary
3-5 years of experience with developing and operating database platforms, and managing troubleshooting complex issues across all infrastructure teams
