Director, Automation

The Director of Automation provides strategic leadership in defining, securing stakeholder alignment for, and executing AIA's automation strategy across Cloud, Infrastructure, Network, and Security domains.

Requirements

• Strategic leadership in defining, securing stakeholder alignment for, and executing AIA's automation strategy
• Collaboration with Group Information Security and various functions within Group IT Operations
• Leadership in transforming the current operating model by embedding automation into core IT processes
• Partnership with architecture governance and solution architecture teams to guide, influence, and implement automation strategies consistently across the Group
• Experience in leading strategic transformation of IT operations through automation
• Leadership in designing and engineering of automation solutions across the infrastructure domain
• Collaboration with Group teams and Business Units to articulate the future state of IT operations enabled by automation
• Collaboration with Group functions to gather requirements, integration points and hand off's
• Experience in providing guidance to Business Units on development and enhancement of DevSecOps practices
• Leadership in defining, publishing, and maintaining automation strategy roadmaps
• Leadership in overseeing the execution of operating plan, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timely delivery of automation initiatives
• Experience in translating complex technologies, concepts and program into clear, business-relevant language senior management
• Leadership in developing metrics and scorecards that promote industry best practices
• Experience in supporting Director Group IT Ops in communicating the automation strategy and securing approval from key stakeholders
• Leadership in defining, publishing, and maintaining up-to-date automation standards
• Experience in engaging with senior management and cross-functional teams to stay aligned with strategic objectives
• Leadership in developing both short- and long-term strategies and plans for automation-related products and services
• Experience in establishing and maintaining collaborative frameworks with suppliers and partner organizations
• Leadership in contributing to technology selection and standardization by defining and implementing standard design patterns/templates
• Experience in building a career with AIA
