Director, Principal Solutions

Scotiabank is seeking a Director, Principal Solutions to architect and deliver scalable, secure, and forward-thinking solutions for the employee experience. This strategic role will involve leading by example and mentoring future architects, aligning technology with business strategy, and driving innovation. The position focuses on creating modern architectures for ServiceNow HRSD and digital employee experience, utilizing a cloud-native approach.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in solution architecture and technology strategy
• Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices, event-driven design, and RESTful APIs
• Deep expertise in ServiceNow, latest features/functionality especially HRSD
• Exceptional problem-solving skills
• Fluent in modern programming concepts, with hands-on experience in programming like Java and Python
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking and communication skills
