Director, Provider Network & Contracting

The client, a leading health plan in the District of Columbia, is seeking an experienced Director of Provider Network & Contracting to oversee value-based care (VBC) strategies, provider contracting, and network development. This role involves supervising a team and ensuring the growth of a cost-efficient provider network. The position requires an individual with a Green Card or U.S. Citizenship and the ability to work onsite in Washington, DC for four days a week, with some remote work.

Requirements

• Lead network development, provider recruitment, contracting, and retention initiatives.
• Negotiate provider reimbursement rates, contract terms, and alternative payment methodologies.
• Direct the Provider Relations team.
• Develop and oversee value-based care arrangements and provider pay-for-performance programs.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, and legal teams.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulatory requirements.
