The Distribution Operations Manager will work with business leads to define and manage business process and technology roadmaps, and lead change through collaboration, people leadership, and a customer-focused approach. The role oversees key on-site processes that impact daily operations and provides insight, coaching, and guidance to peers to ensure all customer requests are completed within required timelines.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service orientation and stakeholder management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication; able to present complex data in a clear story
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 5–8+ years in distribution/DC operations or 3PL management (hub/high-volume environments preferred)
- Demonstrated NPI launch leadership; FTZ experience strongly preferred
- Intermediate to advanced SQL skills, including ability to write and run queries in BigQuery or similar tools
- Experience building and maintaining Tableau (or equivalent) dashboards
- Ability to define, develop, and document business processes and procedures
- Proven self-starter who can work independently in a fast-paced, high-ambiguity environment with minimal oversight
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrated project-management experience
- PMI, PRINCE2, or Six Sigma certification strongly preferred; Green Belt a plus
- Working knowledge of WMS/TMS, Jira/ServiceNow, Looker/Tableau, and PDCA/DMAIC/A3 frameworks
