We are seeking a Hardware Support Engineer to ensure that field devices function correctly and are commissioned by the customer. The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in the commissioning and maintenance of technical field devices, as well as comprehensive knowledge in fault diagnosis and communication technologies.
Requirements
- Completed technical training or comparable professional experience in the field of Energy / Communication / Smart Metering
- Several years of experience in the commissioning and maintenance of technical field devices
- Comprehensive knowledge in fault diagnosis (analysis of logs, trace files, performance metrics)
- Good knowledge of communication technologies such as LTE, GPRS, PLC, IPv4/v6 and meter or IoT protocols (e.g. DLMS, SML, COSEM)
- Experience with technical support tools such as ServiceNow, SAP, test platforms or remote device management systems
- Very good German and English language skills in writing and speaking
- French is an asset
