The Application Development Senior Manager – Production Support will lead and manage a global production support team, ensuring the stability, availability, and performance of critical business applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 10+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years in production support leadership roles
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes and best practices
  • Experience managing global teams and working in a follow-the-sun support model
  • Monitoring Tools: Experience with tools like Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Nagios, or similar for application and infrastructure monitoring
  • Incident Management Platforms: Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira, or similar ticketing systems
  • Database & Middleware Knowledge: Basic understanding of SQL, Oracle, WebLogic, or similar technologies
  • Cloud & Virtualization: Exposure to AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms
  • Automation & Scripting: Ability to leverage PowerShell, Python, or Shell scripting for automation
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret logs, metrics, and dashboards to troubleshoot issues
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
