The Application Development Senior Manager – Production Support will lead and manage a global production support team, ensuring the stability, availability, and performance of critical business applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 10+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years in production support leadership roles
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes and best practices
- Experience managing global teams and working in a follow-the-sun support model
- Monitoring Tools: Experience with tools like Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Nagios, or similar for application and infrastructure monitoring
- Incident Management Platforms: Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira, or similar ticketing systems
- Database & Middleware Knowledge: Basic understanding of SQL, Oracle, WebLogic, or similar technologies
- Cloud & Virtualization: Exposure to AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms
- Automation & Scripting: Ability to leverage PowerShell, Python, or Shell scripting for automation
- Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret logs, metrics, and dashboards to troubleshoot issues
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
