Rackspace is seeking an Incident Manager to join their Infrastructure Operations (IOPS) department. This is a night shift role responsible for leading the incident management, problem management, and change management processes. The incident manager will focus on driving investigations, resolving incidents, and restoring services quickly and efficiently, often as an incident commander. This is a critical part of ensuring timely and fast resolution of major incidents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, engineering, or a related field.
  • At least two years’ experience working in IT service management, ITIL or a similar role.
  • One or two years of experience in a lead role, managing or leading a small team.
  • Understanding or experience in Critical Incident or Emergency response or Risk mitigation.
  • Knowledge of IT service management software including ServiceNow and JIRA.
  • Experience working with IT systems and software such as PagerDuty, SignalFX, Splunk and Zabbix.
