Infrastructure Automation Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Interactive Brokers is seeking an Infrastructure Automation Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to bridge the gap between development and operations. The role involves creating support documentation, tracking metrics, managing monitoring services, automating tools, and coordinating cross-team communications. SREs support existing applications and support process work to manage applications at scale in a 24x7 environment.

Requirements

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Experience with Configuration Management (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
• Experience with Container Technologies (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes)
• Experience with Observability Platforms (Grafana, Elastic, DataDog, Splunk)
• Experience with Issue/Project Tracking (JIRA, ServiceNow, Trello, etc.)
• Experience with CI/CD Pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
• Experience with Documentation Tools (SharePoint, Confluence)
• Experience with Linux Operating Systems (Red Hat Enterprise Linux)
• Experience with Database Operations (SQL, PostgreSQL)
• 2–4 years in an L1 SRE or DevOps role
