This role focuses on coordinating application deployments in critical banking environments. The Application Deployment Engineer will perform applications deployments, automate processes, manage server configuration, and collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams. This is a hybrid position with remote work at home in Mexico City.
Requirements
- Professional in Systems Engineering, Software Development, or related fields
- 3-5 years of experience in application deployment in critical environments
- Experience with Middleware (WebSphere, IBM MQ, Oracle)
- Experience with Infrastructure of servers (Linux and Windows)
- Experience in automation with Ansible, UrbanCode, Maven, Gradle
- Shell scripting in Linux
- Oracle databases
- Tools for management as ServiceNow
- Analytical skills and problem-solving orientation
- Knowledge in agile methodologies (SCRUM)
- Communication and teamwork skills
- Availability to work under a hybrid model (3 days office and 2 remote)
- ITIL, SCRUM, LINUX certifications
- Previous experience in the banking or financial sector
- Knowledge of programming in Java
- Experience in project management
