IT OPERATIONS MANAGER (SPSA, Opt 1)

The State of Illinois is seeking an IT Operations Manager to oversee the technical aspects of its IT operations and provide technical support. This role involves managing IT staff, ensuring smooth daily operations, and ensuring efficient service delivery. The manager will also be responsible for IT risk mitigation, policy development, and program guidance.

Requirements

• Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four years of college.
• Requires four (4) years of progressively responsible administrative experience in private or public administration or a closely related field.
• Prefers three (3) years of professional experience in day-to-day IT operations, including hardware, software, and telecom.
