Responsible for working with commercial and energy client organizations to employ Information/Operations Technology (IT/OT) as a catalyst for transformational change. Identify, target, and engage clients throughout the assess, capture, propose, and deliver sales cycle. Provide consulting, implementation and support capabilities to clients throughout their plan-build-operate technology lifecycle. Foster innovation through identification and evaluation of technologies relevant to client situation.
Requirements
- Ability to pass federal/commercial background check
- Bachelor’s degree with a MINIMUM of TEN (10) years of relevant experience in IT/OT development, integration, and architecture experience in commercial IT/OT or consulting industry
- A MINIMUM of FIVE (5) years of experience designing and deploying technology solutions in the Utility (electric, gas, water) industry
- Working knowledge of IT/OT industry architecture frameworks, standards, and practices
- Documented examples of thought leadership artifacts (i.e. white papers, articles, publications, conference proceedings)
- Documented proposal or business development content writing references/examples
- Ability to travel up to 50% in domestic U.S., up to 10% international
- Ability to travel to the closest Guidehouse Office as needed for in-person events
- Strong team-oriented interpersonal skills; ability to effectively interface with a broad range of people and roles
- Client relationships within Energy Providers client base in the utility industry
- Industry relationships with technology providers and partners common to the utility industry
- Industry certification in TOGAF frameworks and/or Platform Architecture (Appian, ServiceNow, etc.)
- Industry certification in AWS or Azure Cloud architectures
- Industry certification in Utility Security or Compliance or advanced understanding of cybersecurity and secure coding techniques
- Preference will be given to candidates who reside within daily commute of a Guidehouse Office
- Experience with Generative AI and RAG
- Experience with ITIL, Service Management
- Strong leadership and negotiation skills with business and technical groups
- Strong organizational skills and understanding of the Project Management lifecycle
- Comfortable with ambiguity and willing to take principled bets on new technology
- Ability to ‘think big’ and challenge conventional wisdom regarding technology refresh and hype
