IT Supplier Manager

The IT Supplier Manager will oversee the management of IT vendors, procurement activities, and IT asset lifecycle. This role focuses on ensuring strong supplier performance, optimizing purchasing processes, and maintaining accurate IT asset control to support operational efficiency and strategic objectives. Responsibilities include managing vendor relationships, ensuring compliance, and leveraging asset management systems.

Requirements

• Significant experience in IT supplier/vendor management, IT procurement, or IT asset management.
• Strong understanding of IT purchasing processes, licensing models, and vendor negotiation.
• Experience with IT asset management systems and procurement platforms (e.g. ServiceNow, D365).
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Solid understanding of compliance, cybersecurity, and risk in supplier management.
• Experience of complex IT environments with a variety of technology, such as SaaS, public cloud, complex networking, on-premises hardware, COTS software and in-house software.
• Comfortable in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.
• Pragmatic in terms of process, relationships, planning, technology and prioritisation.
• Experience with multiple modern IT tools, such as Office365, SharePoint, Monday.com, Confluence, Slack, Zoom, Teams, Excel
• Practical experience with ITSM best practice and ITIL
