Java/Oracle Support Engineer

Brainsquare India is hiring a Java/Oracle Support Engineer to provide 2nd-line support for Java-based applications and Oracle PL/SQL components. The role involves investigating incidents, maintaining stability, and implementing small enhancements for business-critical systems. The focus is 75% production support and 25% Java & PL/SQL development.

Requirements

• 2-4 years in application support or Java-based production environments
• Strong SQL & Oracle PL/SQL skills
• Hands-on experience supporting Java applications (log analysis, service control, troubleshooting)
• Familiar with ITSM / DevOps tooling (Jira, ServiceNow, Confluence, CI/CD, monitoring)
• Comfortable working in rotational shifts and flexible availability for support
• Clear communicator in English; proactive, structured problem-solver
