Junior Specialist, Accounts Receivable

As a Junior Specialist, Accounts Receivable at Hiab, you'll play a key role in maintaining healthy cash flow by ensuring accurate and timely processing of incoming payments. You'll gain hands-on experience with accounting systems, collaborate across teams, and support month-end closing and reporting activities.

Requirements

• Process and post cash receipts; apply all payments to the accounts receivable subledger; make necessary adjustments in the accounting system.
• Manage and resolve remittance mismatch or cash application issues.
• Investigate + correct unallocated/unapplied AR payments; support to Credit and Collections team.
• Researches unapplied payments;
• Perform timely and accurate application of daily receipts;
• Process payment return items and insufficient funds;
• AR Subledgers closing performed in a timely manner as per HIAB OTC and RTR agreed policy.
• Daily ServiceNow ticket support.
• Support the Supervisor/TL in the communication / escalation process to ensure alignment of interested parties.
