Layer 4-7 F5 NGINX - Senior Network Operations Engineer - Federal

ServiceNow is seeking a Senior Network Operations Engineer to support its US Public Sector customers. The role involves operating and maintaining global cloud network infrastructure, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring high performance application traffic delivery. The team focuses on building hybrid cloud strategies and collaborating with industry partners. This position includes support from both US Citizens, US Naturalized Citizens, and US Permanent Residents.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in network operations, infrastructure engineering, or similar
• Strong hands-on experience with load balancers (F5, NGINX), routing/switching (Juniper, Cisco), and security devices (Palo Alto, Radware)
• Solid understanding of network protocols and services
• Experience with hybrid and public cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Proficiency in Linux systems administration and troubleshooting
• Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and service mesh architectures
• Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk)
• Ability to respond to incident resolution and automate processes
• Experience with change management processes
