DTCC is seeking an experienced Lead Capacity Planning Engineer to analyze infrastructure performance metrics, identify capacity risks, and advance capacity management procedures. The role involves developing and implementing capacity planning strategies, monitoring system performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of related experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Math, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience in Excel macros and/or database queries
- Experience working with SQL Server, Oracle DB, and Snowflake
- ITIL certifications are highly desirable
- Knowledge in Agile methodology and related tools such as Jira
- Knowledge of ITSM tools such as ServiceNow
- Knowledge of capacity planning and management, particularly in the context of on-premises infrastructure such as clusters, databases, servers, and storage
