Linux Administrator

CACI is looking for a Linux Administrator to support the Department of the Air Force (DAF) Enterprise IT as a Service (EITaaS) program. The ideal candidate will provide Linux OS expertise and be responsible for the implementation of all RMF controls to ensure DoD compliance.

Requirements

• 10+ Years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field may be substituted for 5 years of experience).
• Must have DoD Secret clearance
• DoD 8140 compliance; Security + certification at a minimum.
• Experience testing, deploying, and troubleshooting the installation of RHEL and third-party software updates
• Demonstrated experience with planning, configuring, deploying, and implementing automated software and firmware patching, such as WSUS, SCCM, YUM, SolarWinds, etc. for heterogeneous operating systems environments (e.g., Microsoft Windows and Linux)
• Proficiency in RHEL installation, configuration, and maintenance
• Strong command-line skills and scripting abilities (Bash, Python)
• Knowledge of networking protocols and services (DNS, DHCP, HTTP/S, etc.)
• Experience with ServiceNow
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
• Familiarity with database administration
• Acts independently to expose and resolve problems
