Wipro is seeking a Linux System Administrator to maintain and troubleshoot systems in Cambridge. The contract position involves operating on-premise data centres and providing automation and infrastructure support. Experience with Linux administration, IP networking, and containerisation is required.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of Linux System Administration experience
- Experience with Linux (Ubuntu / Centos)
- Experience running and maintaining on-premise data centres
- Experience with ISCSI and SAN technology
- Experience using automation tools (Ansible, Foreman)
- Knowledge of IP networking, DNS, and firewalling
- Experience with Python, shell scripts and command-line tools
- Strong verbal & written communication skills
- Productivity with Jira, ServiceNow
- Good knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Hyper-V, etc.)
Requirements Summary
5-8 years Linux experience, experience with data centres and automation tools. Proficiency in IP networking & security. BS in Computer Science a plus
