Peraton is seeking a Linux Systems Administrator to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. As a Linux Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and supporting our customer's Linux-based systems and ensuring their optimal performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and minimum 5 years experience or high school diploma/equivalent and 9 years experience
- U.S. Citizenship required; must have an active Secret clearance (or higher)
- Proven experience as a Linux Administrator (3+ years)
- Experience with server-client architectures preferred
- Strong knowledge of ACAS, Tenable Nessus, and Security Center
- Knowledge of STIGs and secure configuration of Linux devices preferred
- Familiarity with DoD policies and security compliance frameworks
- Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python)
- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet)
- Understanding of networking concepts and security protocols
- Experience with BMC ARS, BMC Helix, or ServiceNow as an ITSM tool
