Network Administrator – ICAT Infrastructure

This position is for a Network Administrator at ICAT Infrastructure within the ICAT team. The Network Administrator will be responsible for managing and supporting network infrastructure, monitoring network systems, and providing technical support to internal teams. The role involves collaboration and adherence to a work schedule that may include working after-hours.

Requirements

• College Diploma or University Degree in Computer System, Computer Networking or related field
• Active Cisco CCNA Enterprise certification
• Active CCNP/CCIE certifications preferred
• ITIL certification is required or commitment to complete within six months from hire
• Minimum of three (3) years progressive working experience in IT system support and network administration
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in Network Administration
• Must have excellent hands-on experience in IP backbones and IP services
• Must have excellent experience with Cisco router, Catalyst/Nexus switch and wireless technologies
• Expertise must include knowledge of and hand on experience with TCP/IP, OSI model, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, HSRP, LACP, RSPAN, ACL, VPC, Port Channel and VLAN Trunking etc.)
• Provide support for network services including DHCP, SNMP, DNS, FTP/SFTP, HTTP, and HTTPS
• Knowledge of enterprise firewall, IPS and VPN remote access with MFA technologies
• Knowledge of Data Center Operations
• Experience with ServiceNow Incident and Change management
• Experience with Microsoft Visio/Power Point/Word/Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Valid Ontario driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
