Scotiabank is seeking a Sr Manager, Application Support for Prime Services to manage application support teams across Cash Prime Brokerage, Securities Lending, and Risk & Margin systems. This role involves managing teams, providing guidance on incident management, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve application support and maintain system stability. The manager will be responsible for maintaining standards, generating reports and ensuring effective communication for incident updates and policy compliance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience managing capital markets application support teams, including offshore teams
  • 5+ years of experience in capital markets application support
  • Solid knowledge of technology tools required of app support teams, including SQL, batch/shell/Python scripting, and XML
  • Knowledge of ITIL, COBIT, and common app support tools, such as ServiceNow
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
