Network Engineer Specialist - 1 Year Contract

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer Specialist to join our dynamic IT team in Toronto. In this role, you will contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of a secure and resilient IT network and telecom infrastructure that supports our national operations.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in network engineering or a similar role with hands-on Juniper switch configuration and troubleshooting experience in a 24/7 critical infrastructure system environment across multiple sites.
• 1~2 years of hands-on experience with Fortinet Firewalls, and other Fortinet appliances such as FortiAnalyzer, and FortiManager.
• Solid knowledge and understanding of SD-WAN and network technology, network architecture, and good understanding of the Azure networking.
• 1~2 years of working experience in configuring and managing WLAN environment for optimal service delivery. Working with MIST access points, and MIST AI.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, routing protocols, NAT, VLAN Trunking, VoIP and SIP.
• Familiarity with ticketing, alarming, logging and monitoring software such as ScienceLogic, and ServiceNow.
• Knowledge in managing MS Teams telephony, and eFax is an asset.
• Knowledge in working with Netscaler load balancer is an asset.
• University Degree in Computer Science or in a related discipline.
