Abacus Technology is seeking a Network Technician to support voice and data networks for the 14th Flying Training Wing at Columbus AFB. The role involves configuring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and testing network devices across multiple layers, providing on-site support, and assisting with VoIP and RFIs. The technician must be proficient with Cisco and Juniper, possessing excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- Configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and test all network switching and routing devices.
- Respond to all network communication closets and provide on-site customer support.
- Assist with VoIP support, maintain equipment accountability, and respond to RFIs.
- Utilize ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.
Requirements Summary
2+ years network support experience. Must be Cisco or Juniper certified or able to obtain certification within 6 months. Experience with Cisco/Juniper routers & switches
