The NOSC Infrastructure NMT Engineer will provide support for the overall design, implementation, testing and maintenance of the Network Monitoring Tools. The engineer will be responsible for network fault management, performance and configuration management, and will work closely with Tier 1, Program Support, Government Watch Officer, and Tier 3 Operations Teams.
Requirements
- Become a subject-matter expert (SME) for a wide subset of tools and application
- Provide expert setup, configuration, support, troubleshooting, usage guidance, and training to our engineering staff
- Enhance existing and implement new tools to integrate with continuous delivery of systems and reporting
- Work closely with management and technical teams on understanding the overall direction/scope of various projects
- Familiarity with various circuit types and requirements for installations
- Strong understanding of IPv4 and IPv6 addressing, DMVPN tunneling, VLAN trunking
- Provide effective solutions to complex Network Management engineering problems
- Experience in DNS, Cisco IOS, ScienceLogic, RestorePoint, VOSS, and Network Administration
- Understanding of SDLC methodologies and practices
- Ability to multi-task with numerous actives running concurrently
- Experience as a Network Monitoring Tools Engineer
- SME Experience with any of following RestorePoint, ScienceLogic, VOSS, CyberArk, INFOBLOX (IP addressing and DNS), CISCO ISE (TACACS, SNMP), NetScout
- Familiarity/Knowledge with NMT tools like Solarwinds/Axonius/Dynatrace/Splunk/Spectrum/HPNA/CAPM
- ServiceNow Design/Flow and Methodology (CMDB management)
