Oracle Database Administrator

DTCC is seeking an Oracle Database Administrator to join their team. As a key member of the Information Technology group, you will deliver secure, reliable technology solutions that enable DTCC to be the trusted infrastructure of the global capital markets.

Requirements

• Support development, QA, PSE, and Production environments using ServiceNow ticketing system.
• Review production performance reports for variances from normal operation.
• Maintain database performance by calculating optimum values for database parameters;
• Software installation and patching.
• Database creation and configuration.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for DTCC critical production environments.
• Participate in root cause analysis for database issues.
• Supports database functions by designing and coding utilities.
• Prepare users by conducting training; providing information; and resolving problems.
• Recommending and implementing database backup, recovery, and redundancy strategies.
• Provide leadership and direction for the Architecture, Design, Maintenance and L1 and L2 Level
