Principal Data Engineer (Master Data)

Waters Corporation is seeking a Principal Data Engineer to join the Data Governance team. The role involves implementing data pipelines, data quality and auditing, and process automation related to data quality management for all data domains. Collaboration with stakeholders across multiple domains and a dynamic environment are key requirements.

Requirements

• 8+ years of dynamic experience in Data Quality Tool requirements, data engineering, data science, software development, analytics, or similar roles
• Validated experience working with Celonis or equivalent platforms
• Strong proficiency in data engineering and software development
• Solid understanding of data modelling, warehousing, and governance practices
• Familiarity with common enterprise systems (SAP, CRM, HRM, etc.) and integrating data from such systems into Celonis
• Hands-on experience with process automation tools a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related subject area. Master’s Degree preferred
