As a Principal Engineer I - Enterprise Storage, you will play a crucial role in supporting our hybrid compute environment with a strong emphasis on Data Governance. You will design and implement new project scope, resolve and complete assigned cases and change requests, and work closely with various teams to ensure data governance Control requirements are met.
Requirements
- 8+ years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree in related field required, Masters or MBA in related field preferred
- Previous leadership experience preferred
- Advanced to expert knowledge of general Financial Services or Banking
- Advanced to expert knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices
- Advanced to expert experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Advanced to expert experience in NAS/File Share best practice design, implementation, and migration
- Advanced to expert experience in hybrid cloud file data services, Windows File Server, Azure Files, and other vendor specific NAS solutions
- Advanced to expert knowledge in Microsoft Distributed File System (DFS) management and best practices
- Advanced to expert experience in deploying and using data migration tools
- Advanced to expert experience planning and implementing a large and complex data migration project
- Advanced to expert experience with data discovery, classification, security, and vulnerability management
- Advanced to expert experience operating within an ITIL ITSM organization with a background using ServiceNow
- Advanced to expert knowledge of diagramming software
- Advanced speaking and writing communication skills
