The Product Owner will support the ServiceNow development and support team, interact with cross-functional Agile Release Train teams, and serve as a liaison between internal customers and the ServiceNow team. The role will report to the Software Product Manager and require excellent business analysis and process improvement skills.
Requirements
- In-depth understanding of ServiceNow products, including IT Service Management (ITSM), Customer Service Management (CSM), Knowledge Management, and Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
- 2+ years of agile development and business analysis or product owner experience
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and software development lifecycle
- Strong work ethic, analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail when risks or issues arise
- Ability to prioritize tasks and deliverables
- Ability to understand current technical architecture and designs
- Ability to influence and work with others to achieve results
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical and functional concepts in both written and verbal forms to diverse audiences at all levels
- Ability to test and validate functionality as a proxy to the business and technical teams
- Approaches problems from different perspectives to suggest and implement solutions
- Takes accountability for delivering on commitments; owns mistakes and uses them as opportunities for learning and development
