Remote Site Engineer (IP/Network)

The Sr. IP Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and operating IP networks, and will work with cross-functional teams to establish and deploy solutions that meet customer needs. The role requires advanced knowledge of IP network engineering, and experience with various networking equipment and protocols. The engineer will also provide technical escalation support and coach team members on complex technical issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (BSEE preferred) or related field
• At least 7 years of network engineering design and operation experience
• End-to-end knowledge of various access technologies and networking protocols
• CCIE certification preferred but may be substituted with equivalent experience and knowledge
• Advanced level knowledge and hands on working experience of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, RIPv2), MPLS and SD-WAN
• Experience with Network Security and VPN design and implementation utilizing Cisco and Palo Alto
• Experience with WAN optimization technology platforms
• Experience with various VSAT antenna systems and wireless broadband in offshore communication
