Senior AI Security Engineer

ServiceNow is seeking an experienced Senior AI Security Engineer to help build and design solutions for LLM Model Scanning and security concerns. This role will involve research, maintenance, and collaboration across application security, AI governance, and advanced ML frameworks, shaping enterprise-level standards for safe and responsible AI adoption. The position requires a minimum of 2 days/week in San Diego, Chicago, Toronto, or Montreal.

Requirements

• Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes.
• 5+ Years of experience as a Security Engineer
• Familiar with building a GenAI product and putting it into production.
• Familiar with Application Security Concepts & Tools (SAST, DAST, SCA, OWASP)
• Experience with DevSecOps practices and concepts (CI/CD Pipeline Security, container security).
• Good understanding of Cloud Services and Infrastructure (AWS)
• A good level of programming languages such as Python, Rust or Go, and Juypter notebooks
• Knowledge of ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, HuggingFace
• An understanding of AI Governance, privacy, compliance frameworks
• An understanding of AI Model development, adversarial attacks (evasion, poisoning, backdoors) of models, prompt injection, and LLM misuse
