Senior Cloud Application Architect

The Georgia Department of Human Services is seeking a Senior Cloud Application Architect to join their team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and innovative solutions across a range of technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar role
• Proficiency in Java, C++, NodeJS, NestJS, Angular, and Spring Boot
• Strong experience in integrating with Salesforce and ServiceNow platforms
• Expertise in AWS cloud technologies
• In-depth knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
• Hands-on experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes, Amazon ECS, or EKS
• Strong understanding of both relational and NoSQL database systems
• Proficient in using Git for version control and collaborative development workflows
• Experience in system design and architectural decision-making
• Strong ability to verify solution compliance with both industry standards and organizational requirements
• Proven experience in vendor management
• Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
