Senior Devops Engineer

We're looking for a Senior Devops Engineer to join our team in Sydney or Melbourne. As a key member of our transformation program, you'll design, implement, and maintain our server, virtualisation, and Microsoft ecosystem. You'll have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, contribute to continuous improvement, and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in system engineering roles
• Expertise with cloud technologies and automation/deployment tools aligning with SDLC
• Expertise across multiple systems technologies, including on-premises servers, virtualisation (VMWare & Nutanix), Microsoft applications, and compute hardware, SQL, DNS, AD and Azure Cloud Services
• Experience and thorough understanding of ITSM and ITIL processes such as change management, incident management, and configuration management
• Strong understanding of systems concepts and protocols
• Experience with systems security measures
• Proficiency in systems monitoring and management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, ServiceNow)
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Hands-on experience with systems implementation
• Project management and organisational skills
