Senior Linux Engineer (TS/SCI w/ Polygraph)

IDS is seeking an experienced Linux Engineer to provide engineering and administrative support for large Enterprise environments. The role involves managing Linux workstations, servers, and resolving issues in both Windows and RHEL environments. The team is currently working on a hybrid Cloud Infrastructure, Enterprise Storage, and High Performance Computing solutions.

Requirements

• Linux Operating systems as a server or desktop (Red Hat, CentOS, etc.)
• Integration and experience with Kerberos Authentication concepts and/or Microsoft Active Directory
• Strong understanding of DNS, DHCP and LDAP in a Windows or Linux environment
• Operating system deployment and Configuration Management via Satellite and/or Ansible Tower
• Understanding of SMB/CIFS and NFS file sharing protocols
• Linux scripting (Python, Perl, Ruby, Bash)
• Understanding of ServiceNow, NETS or other ticketing process
• DoD STIG hardening
• Gnome desktop environments
• Ability to create and deploy Ansible roles and playbooks
