We are seeking a Senior Linux System Admin to support our on-premises customers. As a key member of the Cloud Ops engineering team, you will be responsible for supporting infrastructure-related needs for our on-premise customers to build/manage their environment to run ServiceNow products.
Requirements
- 4+ years’ experience building and maintaining Linux-based systems
- 4+ years’ experience working on one (or more) Relational Database technologies: Postgres, MySQL, MariaDB, Oracle
- Strong problem-solving, leadership, time management, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong experience with database/system performance analysis, capacity sizing and optimization
- Solid understanding of database replication/high availability, storage engines, system performance and benchmarking, performance analysis and capacity management
- Familiarity with virtualization and cloud infrastructure technologies.
