Senior Software Engineer - Java + Boomi

ServiceNow is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the ETG Product Operations and Innovation Sustaining Engineering (POISE) team. This role involves proactively resolving Enterprise Integrations Application support issues, ensuring timely resolution with appropriate escalation, tracking key performance metrics, and collaborating with engineering teams. The company focuses on AI-enhanced cloud-based platform innovation with a service-oriented approach.

Requirements

• 7+ years of total experience in building and operationalizing enterprise-grade systems and services
• Expert-level proficiency in Java or a similar OO language
• Strong experience with RESTful API design, Microservices architecture, database technologies (SQL/NoSQL)
• Experience working across multiple technology stacks, including Integration Platforms like Boomi, SAP PI/PO, Cloud/Containerization Platforms, Data Streaming Platforms, and Web Infrastructure (Kong, Azure APIM)
• Prior experience integrating Applications with ServiceNow or familiarity with ServiceNow is preferred
• Experience with monitoring tools, dashboards, and analytics is preferred
• Experience with AI/ML and automation in product operations is preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills, customer centric attitude, ability to deal with cultural diversity
• Knowledge of industry best practices in product support and operations
